| WHAT: |
ESM 595SS is a forum for Bren faculty members to present
aspects of their current research to Ph.D. students and other faculty,
in a venue that encourages informed discussion. |
| HOW: |
Each seminar will comprise a ≤50 minute lecture by a Bren
faculty member, followed by a ≤10 minute break, followed by a ≥1 hour
discussion of the lecture topic and associated readings. |
| Readings and background material will be online and
linked to the schedule. Some links may only be
accessible from UCSB networks; to access these links from elsewhere,
use a Bren
terminal
server or one of the Library's Off-Campus
Access services. |
| This course is open to Ph.D. students only. |
