 MODIS Data

Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) data products are available via our MODSTER tool. Data can be subset by specifying latitude, longitude boundaries. A single HDF scientific data set within a data product can also be selected.

  AVHRR Data

Level 1B Advanced Very-High Resolution Radiometer (AVHRR) data, acquired and managed at UCSB, can be subset and acquired via our AVHRR web tool. Data are available from July 1999-present for the West coast of North America. Earlier data from the same area are available by request back to October 1993.

  AVIRIS

A partial archive of NASA/JPL's AVIRIS (Airborne Visible InfraRed Imaging Spectrometer) data is available. This archive contains calibrated images of upwelling spectral radiance in 224 contiguous spectral channels (bands). Most the data in the ESSW collection was aquired over the Sierra Nevada, though other locations may be found, as well.
